چکیده

Fortunella venosa (Rutaceae) is an endangered species endemic to China and its taxonomic status has been controversial. The genus contains a variety of important economic plants with high value in food, medicine, ornamental. However, the placement Genus into Citrus led controversy on taxonomy Systematics. In this present research, Chloroplast genome F. was sequenced using second-generation sequencing, structure phylogenetic relationship analyzed. results showed that size 160,265 bp, typical angiosperm four-part ring containing large single copy region (LSC) (87,597 bp), small (SSC) (18,732 pair inverted repeat regions (IRa\IRb) (26,968 bp each). There are 134 predicted genes genome, including 89 protein-coding genes, 8 rRNAs, 37 tRNAs. GC-content whole 43%, IR having higher GC content than LSC SSC regions. were no rearrangements genome; however, obvious contraction expansion. A total 108 simple sequence repeats (SSRs) entire chloroplast nucleotide polymorphism SSC. addition, there preference for codon usage non-coding being more conserved coding Phylogenetic analysis nested independent supported robustly, which significantly different from japonica. These findings will help development DNA barcodes can be useful study systematics evolution family Rutaceae.

The complete chloroplast genome sequence of Epipremnum aureum and its comparative analysis among eight Araceae species

Epipremnum aureum is an important foliage plant in the Araceae family. In this study, we have sequenced the complete chloroplast genome of E. aureum by using Illumina Hiseq sequencing platforms. This genome is a double-stranded circular DNA sequence of 164,831 bp that contains 35.8% GC. The two inverted repeats (IRa and IRb; 26,606 bp) are spaced by a small single-copy region (22,868 bp) and a ...

Complete Chloroplast Genome Sequence and Phylogenetic Analysis of Paeonia ostii.

Paeonia ostii, a common oil-tree peony, is important ornamentally and medicinally. However, there are few studies on the chloroplast genome of Paeonia ostii. We sequenced and analyzed the complete chloroplast genome of P. ostii. The size of the P. ostii chloroplast genome is 152,153 bp, including a large single-copy region (85,373 bp), a small single-copy region (17,054 bp), and a pair of inver...

The Complete Chloroplast Genome Sequence of Ampelopsis: Gene Organization, Comparative Analysis, and Phylogenetic Relationships to Other Angiosperms

Ampelopsis brevipedunculata is an economically important plant that belongs to the Vitaceae family of angiosperms. The phylogenetic placement of Vitaceae is still unresolved. Recent phylogenetic studies suggested that it should be placed in various alternative families including Caryophyllaceae, asteraceae, Saxifragaceae, Dilleniaceae, or with the rest of the rosid families. However, these anal...

The complete chloroplast genome sequence of Gentiana lawrencei var. farreri (Gentianaceae) and comparative analysis with its congeneric species

BACKGROUND The chloroplast (cp) genome is useful in plant systematics, genetic diversity analysis, molecular identification and divergence dating. The genus Gentiana contains 362 species, but there are only two valuable complete cp genomes. The purpose of this study is to report the characterization of complete cp genome of G. lawrencei var. farreri, which is endemic to the Qinghai-Tibetan Plat...

Complete chloroplast genome of the medicinal plant Amomum compactum: gene organization, comparative analysis, and phylogenetic relationships within Zingiberales

Background Amomum compactum is one of the basic species of the traditional herbal medicine amomi fructus rotundus, with great pharmacology effect. The system position of A. compactum is not clear yet, and the introduction of this plant has been hindered by many plant diseases. However, the correlational molecular studies are relatively scarce. Methods The total chloroplast (cp) DNA was extrac...
